Fixed Deposit

The need for saving for future is an inevitable requirement in life.

You may not know when life takes a twist raising demand for a lump sum.

Most people opt a retirement plan or insurance or share market as an investment, but are they safe and guaranteed 100% ROI?

Usually, such financial investments are all subjected to market risks which means when there is a fluctuation in the market stability, you could lose your money.

So what is a safer long-term investment? The answer is quite simple. Chose a Fixed deposit plan. Besides, why go far when you have your bank at the stretch of your hand?

Fixed deposits are the easy and assured investment by which you can sit back and relax while your money is at work. FD is a financial investment in which a sum is deposited for a said period of time, that pays a fixed rate of interest until a given maturity date.

One of the notable difference between FD and other accounts is the high rate of interests.

Benefits:

  • It encourages a savings habit as the money deposited is locked in for a set time period unless you make a premature withdrawal.
  • Investing in an FD earns you a higher interest rate than depositing your money in a savings account. We have attractive Fixed Deposit Interest Rate.
  • Interest is payable at maturity – annually or monthly depending on the term you chose or you could use the money to buy assets if you want.
  • Flexible maturity period is also an advantage. You could choose from less than 6 months to approximately 10 years.
  • FD acts as a fallback account for emergencies of any kind or savings for future.
  • You get to choose how long you want to invest your money in a fixed deposit account ranging from 30 days to ten years.
  • Opening a fixed deposit account is both quick and easy.
  • You can choose to have more than one fixed deposit account as per your requirements.
  • You could raise a loan against your FD for up to 90% of the invested amount.
  • It is also completely safe and returns on investment is 100% assured.

It is important to note that you could withdraw your amount any day but you will not receive the accumulated interests in case you withdraw your money before the maturity date. Contact Us for more details on CACHS FD Terms.

RECURRING DEPOSIT

A Recurring Deposit, commonly known as RD, is a unique term-deposit. It is an investment tool which allows people to make regular deposits and earn decent returns on the investment.  Due to the regular deposit factor and an interest component, it often provides flexibility and ease of investments to users/individuals.

However, it is essential to know that RDs are different from Fixed Deposits/FDs . RDs are flexible in most aspects. An RD account holder can choose to invest a fixed amount each month while earning decent interest on the amount. RDs are an ideal saving-cum-investment instrument.

Most major banks in India offer Recurring Deposit Accounts, with a term that often ranges between 6 months  to 10 years, also providing individuals with the opportunity to choose a term according to their needs. However, the interest rate, once determined, does not change during the tenure; and on maturity, the individual will be paid a lumpsum amount which includes the regular investments as well as the interest earned.

Features of a Recurring Deposit Account

  • Recurring Deposit schemes aim at inculcating a regular habit of saving in people

  • The minimum period of deposit is six months, while the maximum period of a deposit is 5 years
